Well i got some work done on the jeep this weekend. I had to pull the driver door hinge off and realign it for the soft doors. that was a pain and resulted in me scratching the body so I then decided to repaint and touch up the paint after a years worth of wheeling and sitting under cover.

still have to finish up the cowl and the hood.

I god some good work done on the CJ tailgate too.
Took the soft top off and put the safari sop and a windjammer on as the YJ tops are a pain in the butt. I miss my TJ top. 2 clips and down it came.

Other than that just misc work on it. Nothing major.

very cool. Looks like he did some good work. I would like to see what the lock looks like up close. on the right side.

Ill continue with my CJ tgate. It says Jeep after all Laughing

When I manage to get an updated Jeep I would get that kit.

It seems most people who did the CJ Gate Conv just used CJ hinges and latches.

well after a year or almost a year of down time i finally got the beast re-registered and on the road. went about 100 mile so far and all seems to be good. I have to tighten up a few things b ut other wise she ran and shifted great with the new trans. No vibs from the lift kit either.

Getting some 32 AT for it this next weekend that will be nice... something a little less road noise.
built a custom mirror bracket for it this weekend. too. Realised with my soft doors I did not have any outside mirrors.

now with the front axle done.. its time to think about doing electric fan and CJ tgate if it ever cools off.

and i have to figure out how to get the old hinges off. the bolts wont let go .. i torx

have most of the parts to do both projects. just need it to be cooler before dropping a gas tank.
